The INDX Tool Dock is the intelligent garage for your passive tools. Designed to mount directly onto standard 2020 aluminum extrusions, this robust docking station manages both the secure storage of your tools and the mechanical activation of the toolhead.

Smart Gear Activation
The INDX ecosystem eliminates the need for extra servos on the dock. Instead, each toolholder features a specific Activation Magnet. As the toolhead enters the dock, this magnet pushes a spring-loaded activation gear inside the extruder into mesh with the main drive motor.
Once engaged, the extruder motor performs a specific forward or backward rotation sequence to actively lock or release the tool. This ingenious design uses the power you already have to ensure a secure, high-torque lock every single time.

Dual-Magnet Retention
Simplicity is the key to reliability. The holder secures your idle tools using a robust two-magnet interface. These magnets align perfectly with corresponding magnets on the tool itself, creating a firm, self-centering hold. This ensures that even during high-speed printing vibrations, your parked tools remain safe and perfectly positioned for the next pickup.

Integrated Ooze Control
A parked hot nozzle can ruin a print if it drips. The INDX Toolholder solves this with an integrated Ooze Stopper. This silicone seal caps the nozzle tip while it is docked, preventing molten plastic from drooling onto your print bed or the toolholder itself. It keeps your tool primed and your machine clean.

Universal Mounting
Engineered for the DIY community, the holder clamps securely to any standard 1515 extrusion profile. This makes it easy to install on Voron, RatRig, or custom frames, allowing you to position your tool bank exactly where you need it.
