The 450C HT Thermistor of Slice Engineering reached End Of Life.
After a long evaluation of the applications for the HT Thermistor we reached the conclusion that the vast majority (if not the whole range) of 3D printers we sell upgrades to, is never used with materials that require processing above 300C.
The technical plastics that do require such temperatures, also require print bed temperatures and closed chambers environment temperatures outside the possibilities of most desktop 3D printers.
The true realm of units that require such HT thermistor is therefore almost non-existing.
Hence the replacement of the HT with the 300C thermistor we now present.

Please note that utilizing Slice Engineering’s 300°C Thermistor necessitates firmware adjustments. Failure to configure the firmware correctly can potentially result in a fire hazard!
Both Marlin and Duet3D® firmware are compatible with the Slice Engineering® 300°C Thermistor. When configuring your firmware, select the 100K thermistor – ATC Semitec 104NT-4-R025H42G option. To properly configure your firmware, refer to the documentation available at marlinfw.org or configurator.reprapfirmware.org BEFORE using the thermistor. It is crucial that you do not disable the thermal runaway protection in your firmware, as doing so will nullify any existing warranties.
